The Oromia Pastoral Area development commission has vacant posts to hire qualified employee for the following post for regional pastoral livelihoods resilience project (RPLRP) which is funded by World Bank, (IDA)

Position Regional safe Guard specialist
- Education – MSc/BSc in environmental health/ environmental science / environmental engineering only
- Work experience : – minimum 4 year’s for MSc or 8 years for BSc
- Skill and knowledge:-
  - good ability in using computer applications software ability to work in team and independently good communication& interpersonal skills
  - good report writing ability both in English & Oromiffa
- Required: – 1

Position Zonal Mobile support rural infrastructure officer
- Education – MSc/ BSc in agricultural water resources/ rural engineering or related fields
- Job summary: the zonal mobile support rural infrastructure officer would be responsible for supervision of construction activities, including the overall layout scheduling proposed by consultant; he/she has the overall responsibility of technical backstopping and monitoring of implementation of the different infrastructure related activities of the programme by the different stakeholders of drought resilience programme at the woreda/ sites at kebele level and reporting to the zoal coordinator/ team leader and regional rural infrastructure specialist. Zonal mobile support rural infrastructure officer assists in monitoring the progress of construction by visiting sites at woreda level.
- Work experience : – minimum 2 year’s for MSc or 6 years for BSc
- Skill and knowledge:-
  - good ability in using computer applications software ability to work in team and independently good communication& interpersonal skills
  - good report writing ability both in English & Oromiffa
- Required: – 1

Position Regional Driver- Mechanic
- Education – Certificate in Auto mechanic, 10 grade complete, good English speaking and wring ability
- Job summary: under the supervision of the federal program coordinator, the drivers efficiently perform the activities which are given specifically to him. As far as the project areas are in pastoral and agro-pastoral he should travel to the field with other professionals giving priority to safety, security, commitment to work in harsh conditions and timely respond where it needs his intervention.
- Work experience : – having a minimum 5 year experience familiar working in pastoral and agro pastoral areas and have 3^rd and above driving license
- Skill and knowledge:-
  - Ability to work in team and independently
  - good communication& interpersonal skills
- Required: – 4

Position Zonal MST Driver –Mechanic
- Education – Certificate in Auto mechanic, 10 grade complete, good English speaking and wring ability

Terms of contract: one year contract subjected to renewal based on performance

Salary: as per the project salary scale for all posts
